Terms of Use
Last updated 18 July 2026
These terms set the rules for using Chappi. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
The service
Chappi lets you create pet profiles, track pet information, store photos, share a household and have AI generated conversations in a pet character. Features may change as the service develops.
Health information
Weight ranges, trends, reminders and other health content are general information only. They are not veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Breed ranges are references and may not suit an individual animal. Contact a qualified veterinarian about health concerns or changes in weight.
AI content
AI generated messages and portraits may be inaccurate, unexpected or incomplete. Pet chat is entertainment and cannot replace professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using the app.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your device and account, and tell us about suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for people you invite into a shared household.
Your content
You keep ownership of photos, messages and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Chappi. You must have permission to upload the content you provide.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Chappi, attempt to access another person's data, interfere with the service, upload unlawful content, or use the service to harm another person or animal.
Availability
We aim to keep Chappi available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, maintain the service or respond to misuse.
Ending your account
You can stop using Chappi at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end an account that materially breaches these terms or creates a security risk.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss, lost data, service interruptions or decisions made from general health or AI generated content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Courts in Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
